The Statue of Knights is a statue of a warrior holding a sword which, upon an offering, grants the knights some special military abilities: the leap attack in New Lands, and the combat mastery in Two Crowns.
Leap attack[]
During the bless from the Statue, knights will switch from their usual full passive tactic to an ultra aggressive combat behavior in which they perform leap attacks, capable of killing multiple greedlings at once.
Each time the knights charge with the special attack, they apply one damage to all the Greed they've pierced through.
Usefulness[]
The attack then is brutal to groups of regular greedlings, less effective against the masked ones and worthless if used upon a breeder. Knights will not try to charge against floaters.
Knights will perform the special attack whenever they see a Greed, no matter the time, the place or the amount of Greed gathering before them. This makes the ability only really useful when attacking portals, as the incoming greedlings will frequently die even before charging once against the troops. The charge attack also applies damage to the portal.
Vulnerability[]
However, if the statue is still active during a nightly wave, or, even worse, a Blood Moon wave, the knights will probably lose their coins, weapons and shields while jumping outside the walls.
Knights become invulnerable during the jump and resume their standard state when not jumping. The one or two seconds between the leaping attacks is a critical moment during which they can be hit.
Warhorse combo[]
The warhorse special ability can be used to seal them with invulnerability even during these two seconds, making a great combo with the Statue of Knights' blessing.
Combat mastery[]
The bless from the Knights' Statue greatly enhances the combat skills of knights by improving:
- their sword ability
- their coin capacity.
Note that the combat mastery has no effect over squires.
Visual cue[]
Kingdom: New Lands – No visual cue will be seen until knights get close enough to a Greed and perform their special attack. That will normaly happen when assaulting portals, or during nightrime, when defending against waves.
Kingdom Two Crowns – Knights will have no visual cue at all.
Offering & effect duration[]

Kingdom: New Lands – An eight-coin offering provides the ability for a full day (good before attacking a portal), with twenty-four coins at once extending the ability for three days straight (not recommended).
Kingdom Two Crowns – The Statue of Knights is unlocked with two gems and activated upon an eight-coin offering. For further details, see: Statues § In Two Crowns.
Appearance[]
The Statue of Knights in Shogun has the appearance of a Shogun king mounting a horse with the typical small banner (Sashimono) attached to the back.
In Norse Lands, the statue has a different appearance.

Forever jumping in Two Crowns
The original ability granted by the Knight Statue was well designed for New Lands, where the limited duration of the blessing allows players to have a good control over the knights' aggressivity.
When Two Crowns was released, with the blessings from Statues being permanent, knights would remain aggressive, jumping outside the walls at night, no matter the size of the wave, until the Monarch lost the Crown.
For that reason, the Statue of Knights was considered to be a trap for new players, and very frequently on forums, people would straight up advise against using it.
The redesign came more than two years after the release of the title.
